4th of July Celebration!
Our parade will line up at 10:00AM at Homestead Park (near Holy Family School)
and begin at 11:00. The parade will proceed to Pearl Street and festivities
will follow on the Arsenal Green near the Chamber. There will be food, music,
games, and much more. So, please, come join the fun!

WHAT A WONDERFUL WEEKEND IT WAS AT THE ALMANZO WILDER HOMESTEAD! TAKE A PEAK AT ALL OF THE PICTURES ADDED TO THE WEBSITE TO SEE JUST A SAMPLE OF THE EVENTS THEY HELD OVER THE WEEKEND. IT WAS THE 75TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE PUBLICATION OF THE BOOK, "FARMER BOY", WRITTEN BY LAURA INGALLS WILDER ABOUT HER HUSBAND, ALMANZO, AND HIS EXPERIENCES WHILE GROWING UP ON THE FARM. THE EVENT WAS HELD ON JUNE 21ST AND DREW IN A LARGE CROWD. THE WEATHER, THE FOOD, AND THE ENTERTAINMENT WERE ALL GREAT!

Newsletter Apology:
In regards to a typo that was printed in the May issue of our Newsletter. In
our Business Spotlight article on Lifeline, the first word of the second paragraph
was mis-spelled. The line was supposed to read, "While people choose Lifeline
for a number of reasons...," but unfortunately, the typo read White instead
of While. We are extremely sorry for this mistake and hope that we did not offended
anyone. Please accept our apologies.
