Mountain

This system, comprising 11 miles of trails, is a series of interconnected loop trails which allow riders to select a variety of routes. The difficulty level is beginner.

The trails traverse gently rolling hills through northern hardwood forest. The truck trail is the major east-west travel route through the Deer River State Forest, nearly 12,000 acres of land along the Deer River.

At three locations, there are improved campsites enjoying river frontage. These are available for public use.

Trailhead: From Malone, take Route 11B for 12 miles west to Conservation Road. Drive south approximately 3 miles to the parking area.
