Eleven miles of flatwater with some rapids, but it's mostly quiet stretches flowing through wild forest. Excellent for canoe-based float fishing.

Access via Meacham Lake campground (day use pass required) or hand launch from the Vanderwalker Road (short carry from parking area to river) with four miles available either up or downstream.

Species: Brook and brown trout, northern pike, smallmouth bass, splake, landlocked Atlantic salmon, and yellow perch.
