This Tuscan-style brick home, once the family residence of the Kirk family, became the “Franklin House of History” in 1973. It contains period rooms, collections storage, local history exhibits, and museum offices.

It also houses Schryer Center for Historical and Genealogical Research in the carriage house behind the museum.
