ST. REGIS FALLS SCENIC CAMPSITES
The 2019 camping season opens May 1. In addition to both tent camping sites and RV sites with full hookup, the St. Regis Falls Scenic Campsites feature 11 cabins available for nightly or weekly rental. Cabins accommodate 4-8 people. Call 518-856-9820 to make your reservations.
Operated by the Town of Waverly, the St. Regis Falls Scenic Campsite is a great getaway deep in the Adirondacks! The St. Regis River runs right alongside the campground and you'll find excellent Trout Fishing, several miles of scenic trails, and a beautiful 150 ft. footbridge spanning across the river. Northern Pike, Bass, and Bullhead fishing above the dam are rated excellent. A boat is recommended for still-water fishing or trolling above the dam.
At the entrance to the campsite is the Town Museum with early lumbering, railroad, and farming artifacts from the area. You'll also find the town beach and playground adjacent to the campground. The campground also features a pavilion which is available to reserve (donation suggested) for large groups if you contact the campground in advance.
