Hiking
Flat broad paths end at a viewing station at the edge of a floating bog mat, where there is interpretive information about the bog and its lifecycle throughout the seasons. This is a short, roughly ten-minute walk on a dirt path, but the outstanding scenery makes it well worth a visit.
The fern-lined dirt trail with short gradual inclines and easy walking is outlined on the map board at the parking lot. The left-hand path leads along a smooth path behind the historic, Romanesque Revival church from 1844, listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Accessible
A handicap ramp provides access to the covered observation deck.
Cross-Country Skiing
